Now Playing plugin on macOS does not display current track or update play icon

The Now Playing plugin on mac doesnt work fully:

• the play, skip and previous buttons work

• the current media that is being played is not displayed in the name, it always displays the darude-sandstorm default

• the play button always shows the play icon(i would except to show the pause icon when music is being played)
